What our booking line and website collect about you, where it goes, and the control you keep over all of it.

Detail Gods FL operates detailgodsfl.com and a statewide booking line that pairs Florida car and boat owners with independent mobile detailing pros. This Privacy Policy explains what information moves through the site and the phone line, and who ends up seeing it. We kept it short because we'd rather you actually read it. If anything is murky, email [email protected] and a human will clear it up.
Information We Collect
Booking form fields. The form on our contact page asks for your name, phone number, ZIP code, and the service you want. That's the whole form. A detailer doesn't need your life story to call back with a quote.
Vehicle and boat details. Pricing a detail means knowing what's parked there. So we collect what you tell us about the vehicle: the year and model, condition notes (pet hair, a musty smell, chalky gelcoat), and where it sits. If you volunteer a gate code or a marina slip number so the pro can find the job, we pass that along too, and for that reason only.
Phone numbers and call data. Every number published on this site is a call tracking number that forwards to the booking line. The specific number tells us which page made your phone ring, which is how a referral business knows what's working. We also log caller ID plus the time and length of each call.
Call recordings. Calls with our line may be recorded and reviewed. Recordings let us check quality and coach the people answering. They also settle the occasional "that's not the price I heard" dispute. You'll hear a recording notice wherever the law requires one, and if you'd rather not be recorded, say so and we'll work with you where we're able.
Technical data. Standard server logs and analytics capture IP addresses, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the site that referred you. Cookies get their own section below.
How We Use Your Information
- Matching your request with one or more independent detailing providers covering your ZIP code.
- Giving the matched provider your phone number and job details so they can reach you with a quote.
- Measuring which pages produce bookings and billing the partners who pay us for referrals.
- Reviewing recorded calls for quality and training purposes.
- Preventing fraud, enforcing our Terms of Service, and satisfying legal obligations.
That's the full list. Your number doesn't get rented out to marketers, and no newsletter is lurking behind the form.
Who We Share It With
Independent detailing providers. Connecting you with a pro is the entire service, so your request gets handed to one near you. Providers are separate businesses with their own privacy practices, and after the handoff those practices govern your data. We don't control what an independent business does with information once they hold it.
Call tracking and analytics vendors. Outside platforms route our calls and store the recordings. Separate analytics tools count site traffic. Both work under contracts that limit them to processing data on our behalf.
Legal demands and business changes. We'll produce records when a subpoena or similar lawful demand requires it, or to investigate suspected fraud. If the company is ever sold or merged, customer data transfers with it and stays under this policy until a new one is posted.
Worth flagging: some state privacy laws count handing your contact details to a partner who pays us as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You're allowed to opt out of that, and the rights section below shows how.
Calls, Texts, and TCPA Consent
Submitting your number through the form, or calling one of our tracking numbers to request service, means you consent to receive calls and texts about that request from Detail Gods FL and from the providers we send it to. Autodialed and prerecorded messages may be included. Consent is never a condition of buying anything, and you can always book a detailer without us. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply.
Opting out is quick. Text back the word STOP and the texts end. Tell a live caller to stop, or email us, and the calls end too.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies here have three ordinary jobs. Session cookies keep the site functioning while you browse. Analytics cookies count visitors so we learn which guides and city pages earn their keep. Attribution cookies remember how you arrived, which matters because certain pages swap in a different tracking phone number based on the ad or search result that brought you. The industry name for that trick is dynamic number insertion.
Block or delete cookies in your browser any time. Nothing breaks on your end. The cost lands on ours instead, as fuzzier reporting, and your call still rings through fine.
How Long We Keep It
Call recordings are held for up to two years. Form submissions and call logs stay up to three, since partner billing questions and legal claims can surface long after the wax has worn off. Aggregated analytics data lasts longer but can't point back at you. Once a piece of personal information stops serving a purpose, we delete it or strip out whatever identifies you.
Your Privacy Rights (CCPA and Other State Laws)
California residents have rights under the CCPA, and states including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Texas now run similar laws. Where one applies to you, you can:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to delete it, apart from records the law requires us to retain.
- Have us correct details that are wrong.
- Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of your information, including handing your details to paying partners or using them for targeted advertising.
Email [email protected] from the address or number you used with us so we can verify the request is genuinely yours. Responses go out within the window your state sets, generally 45 days. An authorized agent can submit for you with written proof of authority. And exercising your rights never costs you money or service quality.
A note for Florida residents. Most of our customers are Floridians, so let's be straight about the local law. The Florida Digital Bill of Rights mainly binds companies with over a billion dollars in revenue, and a referral service for mobile detailing sits nowhere near that. We honor Florida requests anyway, by choice rather than mandate. Email the same address and you get the same rights listed above.
Children's Privacy
Booking a detail is an adult errand, and nothing here targets kids. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted details to us, tell us and we'll erase them.
Changes to This Policy
When our practices change, this page changes and the effective date moves with it. A meaningful revision gets called out plainly rather than slipped quietly into a paragraph. Continuing to use the site or the line after an update means the new version applies to you.
