Detail Gods FL Terms of Service

These Terms govern detailgodsfl.com and the Detail Gods FL booking line. Use either one and you're accepting what's on this page. It's shorter than most terms pages because a referral service is a simple thing, and we'd rather you actually read it.

What We Do (and Don't Do)

Detail Gods FL connects you with independent mobile detailing professionals working in Florida. That's the whole business. We don't wash cars, we don't polish gelcoat, and nobody who shows up at your driveway or dock is on our payroll. The pro who does the work is a separate company. We earn our keep from the partners we send jobs to, which is why calling us never costs you a dime. You pay the detailer directly for work you approved.

The Providers Are Independent Businesses

Every detailer in the network runs their own operation, with their own equipment, insurance, schedule, and prices. A referral from us doesn't make them our agent or employee, and nothing they say creates an obligation on our part. We check that partners carry insurance and run real mobile rigs before referring work to them, but we can't monitor every job or guarantee any pro's paperwork is current on the day of your appointment. Their business standing is their responsibility, not ours.

Quotes Are Estimates Until You and the Pro Agree

Any range you hear through our line is built on what you described. If the "light pet hair" turns out to be a golden retriever's life work, the number moves. That's normal, but it should never be a surprise. Before any work starts, confirm two things directly with the detailer: exactly what's included (interior, exterior, engine bay, coating, add-ons) and the final total. The price is a deal between you and the provider. If what's quoted at your door doesn't sit right, you can send the pro away before work begins and owe nothing.

Photograph Your Vehicle Before Service

Here's advice we insist on strongly enough to put in the Terms. Before the detailer starts, walk around your car or boat and photograph any existing damage: scratches, swirl marks, cracked trim, torn upholstery, cloudy gelcoat, all of it. Good pros do their own walkaround for the same reason. A clear before-and-after record protects both sides if a question comes up later about whether a mark was already there. Claims about damage are far easier to resolve with timestamps than with memories.

No Warranty From Us on Provider Work

The site and the referral line are offered "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty about any provider's workmanship, punctuality, pricing, or availability, and no warranty that a coating or a cleaning will produce a specific result. Implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed to the fullest extent Florida and federal law allow. If a provider offers their own guarantee on a coating or a correction, that promise belongs to them, and you should get it in writing from them.

Limits on Our Liability

Because we don't perform the work, we aren't liable for damages arising from it. That covers paint damage, upholstery damage, water intrusion, marred gelcoat, missed appointments, and disputes over the bill. Your recourse for a problem with a job is with the detailer who did it, backed by that detailer's insurance. Should a court find us liable despite this section, our total liability to you is capped at one hundred dollars ($100), which reflects a service you never paid for. We're not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages under any theory.

Indemnification

If your misuse of this site, your violation of these Terms, or your dispute with a provider drags us into a claim, you agree to defend us and cover our reasonable costs, including attorney fees. This doesn't apply where the claim stems from our own wrongdoing.

Calls and Texts

When you call the line or submit your number through our form, you're consenting to receive calls and text messages about your request from us and from the detailing partners who receive it, which may include autodialed or prerecorded messages. This consent isn't a condition of buying anything. Reply STOP to end texts, and see the Privacy Policy for every opt-out route. Calls may be recorded for quality purposes.

Our Content Belongs to Us

The words, graphics, layouts, and the Detail Gods FL name on this site are ours or licensed to us. Read the site, share links to it, quote a line with credit. But don't republish our pages, scrape the content, or use our name in a way that implies we endorse your business. Detailers in the network get no license to our brand beyond receiving referrals.

Use the Service Honestly

The line exists for real detailing requests. Prank bookings waste an independent pro's fuel and morning, so don't. Also off the table: submitting someone else's phone number, probing the site for security holes, interfering with its operation, and posing as us anywhere. We can decline to refer anyone who abuses the service.

Disputes, Arbitration, and the Class Action Waiver

Delaware law governs these Terms, excluding its conflict of laws rules. Start every dispute with an email, because most get fixed there within days. If 30 days of informal effort goes nowhere, you and Detail Gods FL agree to resolve the matter by binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules rather than in court. Small claims court remains available for claims that qualify.

No class actions. Both sides waive the right to bring or join a class action or class-wide arbitration against the other. Any claim proceeds one on one. If a court refuses to enforce this waiver for a specific claim, that claim goes to court individually and the rest of this section survives.

You may reject arbitration altogether by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of your first use of the service, stating your name, your phone number, and that you're opting out. Everything else in these Terms still applies to you.

Severability

If any piece of these Terms fails legally, it gets narrowed to whatever the law will enforce, and every other piece continues unchanged.

When These Terms Change

We'll revise this page as the service grows or the law shifts. The effective date up top always shows the current version, and significant revisions appear here before they take effect. Continuing to use the site or the line after an update counts as accepting it.
